Morgan and her friend decided to make homemade Moon Sand. I didn't really give permission, but I didn't say a definitive no either. I didn't take pictures while they were making and playing with the moonsand. I just got pictures of the aftermath when Reagan and her friend were playing.
There was moon sand everywhere, on the chairs, the counter, the floor. I was very glad that we undertook this project when Mark was gone because if he would have been around this would have caused him mega stress!! I thought I was saving Mark lots of stress by getting it all cleaned up before he got home. However, I washed some extra sand down the sink and put the dirty dishes with moon sand in the dishwasher. That was my big mistake!! It messed up the dishwasher. Mark still had to experience some stress over that, but at least he was able to fix it. Next time homemade moonsand will definitely be an "outside only" project!!
