Preschool zoo trip
We went to the zoo for Reagan's preschool field trip. It was weird to think this is the last time I'll be going on a preschool field trip with one of my kids.
Phillip, Nancy & Reagan are looking at the ducks.
Nancy & Reagan posing with the tiger statue. They NEVER get tired of posing with statues.

All caught up
This is my 33rd post that I have entered in the last several days. I was going to enter one more post of pictures taken a couple of days ago, but my card reader isn't working. I called the company and they are sending me a new one, so as of right now I am completely caught up with what I can do. Hopefully, my new card reader will be here in a few days and I can stay caught up!

Let's Play Ball

We're Back!
We ended up leaving for home in the late afternoon on Friday. We were all just ready to go home and we were hoping to see Rob play baseball on Saturday. We drove to Laramie and spent the night. We left early the next morning and we were back in Wichita by 4:30 on Thursday.
We drove straight to the ballpark to see Rob play. Here is a picture of him batting.
Marissa, Morgan and Reagan being "gangstas"! Marissa has a shirt and all 3 of them have baseball caps from our Royals basket. The elementary carnival was the night before. The girls were bummed they couldn't be there, but they were also disappointed we wouldn't get a basket this year. The first year we went to the carnival we got about 6 or 7 baskets. I think we got every basket we bid on, but one. After that, we learned to only bid on 2. We usually bid high enough to get both of the baskets we bid on. We just look at it as a donation to the school. Marissa went to the carnival and helped to get some service hours. Mark & Rob went over right at the end of the basket bidding to bid on some baskets. They bid on the Royals basket and the Jayhawk basket. (I told the girls that I figured they would probably bid on sports or outdoors type baskets. I was definitely right!) We won the Royals basket, but we were outbid on the Jayhawk one. When we got home, the girls were just happy we got a basket!

Hogle Zoo!
On Friday we went to Hogle Zoo with Heather and her kids and Clayton and Abby and Emma. We also met Emily and Kaisa there for a little bit, too. The girls had a great time seeing the animals and hanging out with their cousins.
It was fun to see a baby elephant.
Snack time for Reagan.

We found this area on a hillside with a lot of rocks. We probably spent 5 to 10 minutes letting the kids climb up and down the rocks. Reagan really loved doing this.
Maddie & Morgan had a fun time walking around holding Eva and Esther's hands. Unfortunately, I didn't get a very good picture of this.
Morgan, Eva and Reagan ride on this big teeter totter like thing at the playground. The kids did this for a long time. They all loved it.
Reagan and Eva poking down on the top of the stroller.
Reagan tried this visor on at the gift shop and asked, "Mom, will you buy me this advisor?" I didn't buy it by the way.

The car
First of all, I must say that my favorite thing about these pictures is how I took them. It was completely dark outside and I was able to take them with my new camera with an ISO of 6400 and no flash. I love my new camera!!
We are usually really good about decorating the cars when one of Mark's siblings get married. However, this time we were really slacking. As the reception was almost over, we realized that we hadn't decorated the car and no one had supplies. Evva's family had decorated the inside, but they promised they wouldn't do the outside. We had made no such promise! Grandma had lipstick but she wasn't willing to lend it to us. Luckily, we were near stores. Clayton ran to the store and got supplies and we did a quick decorating job with shaving cream and oreos.

Dave was a good sport, when he had to clean some of it off before they could leave!
All Dressed Up
After the reception was over, Evva was upstairs changing. Emma went up and got her slip and her veil and wore it downstairs.
We were all laughing when we saw her and I believe it was one of the workers who told her how beautiful she was and asked her if she felt like a princess. Her, response, was "No, I feel like an idiot!"
We were all really laughing after that response and she just kept walking around in her dress.

Family Photos
The wedding reception was a perfect time for me to use my new camera to take some portrait style photos. The scenery was great and it was just the right time of day.

Rob - The black eye and wrist band from Discovery Gateway are a nice touch, but, hey, I'll take what I can get.

Good ole Uncle Chris doesn't want to be left out.
The whole gang. I set up the camera and then Sallie took the picture!
