We're Not in Kansas Anymore!

It's funny how things are different in different places and we just kind of forget. After we'd been in Utah about a day, Morgan asked me if Grandma Housley and George went to church together. I was kind of confused and said that they were the same religion and then I realized that she was asking if they were in the same ward. They live about 20 miles apart and I explained that there are about 10 stakes in between where they live with about 10 wards in each stake. Morgan was thoroughly amazed! On our way to dinner, shortly after arriving in Utah, Morgan asked what all those boxes are on the tops of the houses here. I immediately knew what she was talking about and explained how swamp coolers are air conditioners, but they don't work in Kansas because it is too humid.
Tuesday morning when Grandpa Hislop measured his snow there was 8 inches. He figured at least an inch had all ready melted by then. Grandpa said that may have been the biggest storm of the year. In Kansas it was about 70 degrees!!!
