Tanganjika

We went for another day of fun. This time we went to Tanganjika. We picked today to go here because there was a special going on. The last time I went here was two or three years ago. Lori and I took our kids and went for a preview right before the grand opening. It was alot cheaper to get in, but almost everything was under construction and hardly anything was on display. We still had fun, though, and we could see that it would really be fun when it was finished and all of the animals were out.Morgan with some lemurs. The kids love to feed the lemurs!
Two lemurs sitting on a rock.
Chad, Morgan and Reagan.
Maddie feeding a bird.
Chad feeds a bird. He was really good at getting the birds on his arm and was showing the girls how to do it.
Reagan feeds some bunnies.
Maddie feeds some tortoises.

After Tanganjika we went to new frozen yogurt place on the west side of town called Orange Leaf. Marissa had been there recently and said how fun it was. It is a place where you can get all different flavors of yogurts and toppings. You get them yourself and then pay by weight. When Marissa went, she said that it only cost her a couple of dollars. I should have realized that Marissa got a really small amount, though. (Marissa is really good to get a reasonable amount and not gorge herself!!) I let the girls just help themselves, but told them they needed to eat what they got. We weighed the yogurts and it came to $27 for 5 yogurts, definitely NOT a cheap snack!! Lori's were as expensive as mine. We just laughed about the fact that it was almost as expensive for yogurt as it was to get into Tanganjika. Of course, the kids wasted alot of their yogurt as well.
