The night before the class parties, I had my kids practice playing the games so we could know which games worked and which didn't. One of the games for Maddie's class was to use chopsticks and transfer candy corns from one bowl to another. I felt like this activity was way too hard for kindergarteners. Reagan tried doing this and at first she couldn't do it at all and she was getting very frustrated.
Reagan kept trying and trying and she actually taught herself how to use chopsticks the correct way (something that I can't even do!).
In the end she was able to transfer all of the candy corns and she LOVED it!! She even did it the next day before school!!
