Room Redo

We decided to repaint Maddie & Reagan's room & bed while Mark was gone. First off we got the primer and paint to paint the bed. I know almost nothing about painting because Mark and Marissa always do the painting. We ended up buying oil based Kilz to seal the bed, which wasn't such a great idea. All 3 girls helped Marissa. They had it all over them, their hair, etc.

They had quite the painting party!!

I didn't get pictures of them painting the room yellow, but you can see they painted it bright yellow. Marissa did all the taping, painting, etc. The only thing I had to do was buy the paint. Once the room was painted, Marissa and the girls assembled the dressers all by themselves, too. It's great to have such a capable daughter!


We still need to make quilts for the bed and so some more decorations for the wall, but we have a really great start on the room!
