Pranking at College

Marissa has all ready started getting in on some pranks at college.  I was a real prankster at college and so was Rebecca & Ashley's mom.  Its really funny because she had even done some of the really funny ones that I had done, even some that aren't too common.  So those 3 girls are having a great time following in their mothers' footsteps.

About 1:30 in the morning, Marissa and Ashley were in their room and they heard a really loud noise which they could tell was coming from Rebecca and Christina's room.  Marissa jumped up and ran across the hall and saw the shattered window and the 3 boys who had launched the water balloon on the outside of it.  All the girls thought it was really funny, but they felt sorry for the boys.  They had to wake up their RA, but luckily they have a really great RA.  Once she was awake, she thought it was funny.  They still had to follow the rules, though, and call the police, etc.

There were shards of glass everywhere.  In the end, Christina and Rebecca ended up dragging their mattresses across the hall and they slept in Marissa & Ashley's room for the night.

Marissa called me the next day to tell me about it because she thought it was so great and she knew I would appreciate it.  Later that evening, I was telling Mark about it and Rob was there.  Rob could not comprehend why anyone would launch a water balloon at a window.  He said, "I promise you when I'm in college I will never do something like that.  That is just dumb!" ( and I definitely believe him).  Mark's response was "That definitely sounds like something I would have done in college!"  I had to agree that it was also something I would have done.  Rob was just standing their in disbelief shaking his head.  It was funny!

Little holes left in the wall after they picked out the shards of glass.
 Glass on the carpet.
In this picture you can see the glass on the carpet as well as the boarded up window.
All the boys and girls involved were pretty proud that their incident made the "Police Beat" in the Daily Universe.  Marissa had this hanging on her bulletin board.  They all thought it was funny that the boys were called perpetrators and the boys were really happy to see the statement that no legal action was taken because they came forward.  They were still a little bit worried about the final outcome.
Ashley and Rebecca skyped their Mom asking her to help them come up with a way to get the boys back and this is the idea she gave them.  They had window paint (which their Mom had sent with them to BYU) so they went and wrote this on Nick's car.  They then started getting worried that no one would call so they called friends and relatives to call and make inquiry's.  Afterwards the boys said it was pretty obvious who had done this because all of the people calling were either from New Mexico or Kansas!  Whoops!  Nick actually left it on his car for a day or so, but then he was going to go wash it off because he was starting to get way too many phone calls.
The side view of the car and you can also see the reflection of Nick taking the picture.

Marissa is definitely having a good time at college.  It's probably good she's not working so she at least can find a little bit of time to study.  She is definitely not having a problem finding time to play!
