Opening Presents

On Sunday we went to sacrament meeting and then we went back to Whitworth's to watch Nick and Sydnie open presents.  Nick's Dad had made arrangements for Nick and Sydnie to meet the rest of us there.  It was nice for Nick's Dad, friends, and grandma, as well as our family to be there while they were opening presents.

I enjoyed spending the week in Texas helping Myrna get ready for the wedding and it was great for the rest of the family to come down for the weekend.  I really did miss Marissa this weekend.  It just wasn't the same with her being gone.  I was worried that it might be hard for her to be away, too.  However, I heard from her later that she was thinking about us a lot that weekend, but she was grateful she was on her mission because she knows that is where she is supposed to be.  That was so great to hear!
