One of the reasons that it took me so long to get back scrapping again is because my scrapping area was such a disaster. I just don't function well in chaos. Here are pictures of my scrapbooking area after I got it all cleaned and organized.
On the left is my stampin up area with all of stamps, ink pads, etc. I haven't done a whole lot of stamping lately, but I like keeping my stuff all in one area so I can use it when I want to. On the right is my paper organizer. Mark built that for me while we lived in our last house. I love it. It helps me to use old paper rather than just go out and buy more all the time.
This is where I normally sit when I'm scrapping. My most used supplies are nearby. I love how my bottom shelf is only a few inches tall. I use this to put pages I'm currently working on and other miscellaneous stuff.
On the right is where I have all my plastic drawers of embellishments. I have organized them by color and that has worked really well for me.
Looks like a fun place to be. I wonder where we got our oranizational skills? I am always reorganizing things--just last night Andy went to get the butter dish out of the cupboard but during the day I found a new "home" for it. He knows just to ask when he can't find something, because chances are I moved it. Today I cleaned out the linen closet and organized the towels by color.
