Crafting

Over Christmas break, I decided that it was time to clean the craft/storage room. It was a total disaster and I figured it would take me months to do. I started with the scrapbook area (the funnest part) and moved to the kid's crafting area which is still pretty fun to do. The last thing I did was the storage area. I actually had it all cleaned in a couple of weeks but I put 40+ hours into this cleaning/organizing project.

This is a before picture. Since I don't have a good wide angle lens, this picture really doesn't do it justice to show just how messy the whole room was.
This is a after picture of one corner of the storage area. It is so nice to be able to actually find things that I have stored.
This is an after picture of the kids craft containers. I got them all organized and labeled. The girls can get out the containers with green labels without asking. They can't get out the containers with red labels without permission. I did this a few weeks ago, but I'm happy to say that this area remains completely organized!
Reagan, Maddie & Morgan doing crafts in the craft room. Before it was cleaned, they were banned from it because when they would do crafts the mess would multiply. All 3 of them have really enjoyed being able to do crafts again and their friends enjoy it as well.
Morgan learned how to finger crochet and she taught Maddie as well. They've had fun making scarves with the craft room yarn supply. Reagan enjoys wearing the scarves that they make for her.
