Marshmallow Shooting Barbecue

I had told Lori about these marshmallow shooters and how we needed to have a barbecue and make these for everyone. We were trying to come up with a date that would work and we were having a really hard time due to our traveling schedules, our kids traveling schedules, and our kids sports schedules. We ended up picking today even though Rob had a late baseball game. I was really organized and did all the advanced prep I could since I knew I would be in Salina for the day. I ended up having a little over an hour to get ready after we got home. We had 3 other families come as well. Some of the kids and their marshmallow shooters.
Some of the girls loading up their marshmallow shooters.
I had originally put the parts for a marshmallow shooter in a bag and then everyone could assemble their own. That worked at first, but then the boys started taking the kits apart and making their own versions. They found that a longer barrel would mean a longer shot. Here are some of the kids after the shooting had been going on for awhile and there are quite a few marshmallows on the ground. 2 weeks later, I was still finding dried up marshmallows in remote places. The marshmallow shooters definitely added some extra fun to our barbecue!!
