You can hardly even see the snow on the ground, but Maddie and Rob were having so much fun outside playing in it. Rob is wearing is everyday attire of shorts. He wears shorts to school almost every day all year long.

On Monday, the kids were so excited that it had snowed even more and they could go outside and shovel it!
As you can see, Maddie hasn't figured out that you normally don't wear 3/4 length leggings in the snow. I had suggested she wear something different to school, but she disregarded my suggestion.
When I went to the store today, I bought some different types of sleds for the kids to use. They had a great time sledding down the hill on the side of our house.
Tuesday was the 1st snow day for this school year. It was a perfect day to be out of school because there was lots of snow on the ground to play in. However, it was super cold.

In the afternoon, we went to El Dorado with Lori and her kids and a bunch of Megan and Marissa's friends. We had never been sledding at El Dorado before and the kids all LOVED it!! Here is a picture of a bunch of the kids on top of the hill.

Rob was a bit slow to get involved in the sledding action. However, once he started he loved it and about the last 30 minutes we were there, Rob was the only one sledding. In this picture a dog was chasing him down the hill. Rob didn't even realize the dog was following him.
Rob and Maddie sledding down the hill. When we got back, Marissa told me that she had lost her phone. She thought it must have fallen out of her pocket while she was sledding. We figured it was probably long gone. A few minutes later, a girl called me and said that she had found Marissa's phone on the hill. The girl told us that she would just come to the Walgreen's by our house and bring it to us. Marissa was so lucky!!!
