Martin Luther King Day

Back when I was in college, we used to make these cupcakes every year for Martin Luther King Day. I remember making them a time or two when we were first married, too. However, I hadn't made them for a very long time. When I told my kids about the idea they were very excited and thought it sounded fun. I told them it was a tradition that I had and Marissa was giving me a hard time saying how could it be a tradition when we've never done it. We used the chocolate cake recipe that I've been using lately for the cupcakes, but we put the special cream cheese filling in them that I always use to put in my Martin Luther King cupcakes years ago.Maddie, Emily and Reagan decorating the cupcakes.
I was being lazy today so I just bought some white gel tubes from the store rather then making white frosting and using decorating tips and bags.
