Tanganjika is a really neat place. We had gone there about a month before, but the kids got to go again since their cousins were in town. I let all 3 of the younger girls take the day off of school today to hang out with their cousins. This was a perfect day to go because school was back in and the fair was going on in Hutchinson. There was almost no one there. It made it really nice, because the animals were even more interactive when we fed them because they were hungry.

The kids need to stay on the sidewalk and they can only pet a kangaroo if it comes next to the sidewalk. This was a rare opportunity for the kids to actually pet the kangaroo.

Reagan chose to feed the tortoises while the other girls were feeding the bunnies.

Morgan with a lemur. We use a token to buy a craisin to feed the lemurs. We aren't allowed to pet them, but we can feed them. This is currently the only place in the country where visitors can interact with lemurs.

The tiger standing on this great big tree stump. He had jumped up there and he stayed there for quite awhile.
