The Sunday before we went to church thinking there was a possibility we may have a couple of extra people for dinner. Because of that, I had cooked a little extra chicken. At church, I found out that the Elders dinner appointment had cancelled so I invited them to dinner. Sam Kidd's family had moved so Mark invited him over for dinner, too. Our home teacher wanted to come to visit us so we invited him, too. We went home thinking we would have 5 dinner guests and we immediately began making extra sides, etc., so we would have enough food for everyone. As we were preparing dinner, the Israels stopped by so we invited them, too. We ended up having 7 dinner guests and we did have enough food! It was great fun!! As we were eating dinner, Michelle started talking about teaching us to make Taiwanese food so we decided that everyone who was at dinner was also invited the following week. The following week we also invited the sister missionaries and the Eldredges (who were supposed to be having all 5 missionaries for dinner).
Michelle, Gary and Sam came over at 5 to start the meal prep at our house. (Michelle had all ready done alot of meal prep at her house)
