Tornado Warning and Jelly Bellies

When I got up on Sunday, I didn't even realize that there was bad weather being predicted.  It got mentioned in ward council and we discussed that if there was a tornado warning we would have everyone go to the back hallway.
As the women were coming into Relief Society, one of the ladies showed me on her phone that we were under a Tornado Warning.  We went and found the bishop and talked to some stake leaders who were there and we then had everyone go to the back hallway.  After we'd been there 5 minutes or so, the stake president came and said things were ok and we could go back to class.  There was a possibility of bad weather later so he told us we should go home immediately when church was over.
About ten minutes later they came and told us to dismiss and go home as quickly as possible.  That was a first for us to get out of church early due to a tornado warning.  As we were driving home, it wasn't even raining and the sky didn't have that ugly green look that can often be seen when a tornado is in the vicinity.
It was about another half hour before the storm moved to Andover.  It rained pretty hard for about 10 minutes or so, but it never got bad.  However, we heard that there was some pretty severe weather on the west side of town.
This is a picture of our back yard when the storm started to hit!  We spent the evening watching the weather.  The next day both my parents and Mark's parents called to check on me.  I didn't realize why everyone was so worried about the tornadoes until my Dad told me about the tornado that had hurt Moore, OK.  I hadn't even heard about it.  I was at a softball game for Maddie and the sky was clear and sunny.

For social studies, Morgan was doing a report on Ronald Reagan.  I got Jelly Bellies and put them in condiment cups for her to hand out as a snack since that was his favorite candy.  I bought these condiment cups at Sams more then 7 years ago (I remember buying them when we lived in our old house).  I have got lots of use out of them, but I still have a whole bunch left!!
