I thought I got some pretty good pictures using the big lens at the baseball tournament this weekend. However, when I got home and looked at them indoors I realized just how much I liked them. The images are so much sharper using the nice lens. I've loved the lens all week as I've used it, but I am now 100% convinced that I need this lens!!
I love this picture of Rob watching the ball which is in between his feet. He didn't swing and a ball was called on this pitch.
This picture is Rob's favorite picture that I've ever taken of him playing baseball. I may crop this a little and get it blown up and let Rob hang it on his wall. I love seeing the ball in this picture. This was a really great hit that Rob got. Rob was also really impressed that he had great form!
Rob did a great diving stop and threw the ball from his knees for an out. I didn't get the picture until he stood back up.
Rob thought this picture was stupid, but these last 2 were my favorites. When I took these pictures, I thought about how I wanted to take the picture and then I took it really fast. I knew Rob would be irritated if he spotted me taking these pictures . . . and when I talked to him about it today, I was right!
Rob had a great tournament this weekend. He got some nice hits and he made some really great catches and plays in the field. The team as a whole, didn't fare so well, though.
