It had been several years since we'd been to River Festival. Yesterday afternoon, we spontaneously decided to go. The boys were going to a father son campout so I took the girls to Kohl's to get new swimming suits and flip flops and then we went to the River Festival.
The girls eating their ice cream that we got at the ice cream social. I don't particularly like the legs in the background, but it was in a busy area so I just told the girls to look at me and I had to immediately take the picture before more people walked in front of them.

I wanted the kids to pose here for me and Maddie was my only taker. For some reason, my kids get tired of being in all my pictures. I can't imagine why!!

The girls all had a wonderful time making their potatoes. Marissa and I were both extremely impressed with how Maddie came up with the porcupine idea all on her own. The younger girls were thrilled to get their pictures taken with their potatoes. Morgan is unhappy because she is cold and she just wants to go home! We went home shortly after that because Reagan had a sleepover at the gymnastics gym. She was soooo excited and she did great, just as I would have expected.
