Cow Eye Dissection

Yesterday I went to school and helped in Maddie's class while they dissected cow's eyes. I love stuff like this so I was excited to go. At Maddie's table, there were 2 other parents helping so I let them do the cutting on the eyes while I took pictures, even though I would have loved to do the cutting. There were 5 kids at Maddie's table. One didn't even put on a glove because she had no intentions of touching it. One barely touched the eye. The other two touched it a little bit, but they were tentative. Maddie totally got into it. We were the last group and we actually had two eyes at our table. There were times when Maddie was holding both eyes and the others were just looking on, happy to let her hold them both.Maddie poses with the eye in her hand.
