We got up early and drove to Indianapolis. I remembered going to the speedway when I was in college and wanted to take the kids there. We watched a movie about the race track which was informative. We then walked around the museum and looked at the cars. We are pretty quick museum browsers!!
When I went to the speedway before, my favorite thing was riding the bus around the speedway. That is what the kids liked best, too. There is just something fun about rumbling along in a bus on a track in which you know that race cars go blistering down the same track.
Before we left, I took a group picture of the kids. We were then off for Detroit. Rob was extremely pleased that we were making such good time which meant that we would be in Detroit much earlier then we originally thought possible.
