Kirtland, Ohio

We got up Sunday and went to church in Pittsburgh. It was a really great ward and people were very friendly and welcoming. We then went to Kirtland, Ohio to take in some church history sites. This is the missionary who gave us the tour. He and his wife had only been out on their missions for a few weeks. This was his very first tour to do by himself. He did a really great job. It was very touching.
Listening to the explanation,
Some members of the family are more in to smiling for a picture than others. For some odd reason, it seems like it is always the same ones.
The Kirtland Temple which is not owned by our church. The tour was interesting, but by the end I just wanted to get out of there. The difference in how it felt in here versus at the previous sites was amazing. The really good spirit just was not there!
Mark takes a picture of all of us in front of the Kirtland Temple.
Morgan is usually a willing photography subject!!
Marissa, Morgan & Reagan. As were were walking to the car, everyone agreed that we needed to make one more stop at the Jacob Morley farm so we could feel the good spirit again.
There are no buildings to tour at the Jacob Morley farm, but the scenery was beautiful and there were missionaries there to be guides.
Mark
Reagan found this stick and was completely entertained running around with it.
A cute picture of Maddie!
