St. Louis Arch

I made reservations for the earliest Arch tour available online. We were at the arch when the gates opened at 8 a.m. and that is definitely the way to go if you want to visit the arch. Marissa, Reagan and I went to the arch a few years ago when we were in St. Louis for gymnastics, but this was the first visit to the arch for the others. We were able to ride to the top of the arch with no wait. We didn't have the chance to read all the displays that you can normally read while you wait in line. However, that definitely did not bother our group!
Maddie & Reagan look down from the arch.
The view of the empty baseball stadium and surrounding area.
If you look closely you can see the pools on the top of some of these buildings. Reagan pointed those out to me. She was fascinated that there were pools that high in the air!!
This display could be viewed from both sides which made it a PERFECT place to take a picture!
I love how Rob & Reagan were bent over the same way in this picture. Rob was dressed in Red so he would be ready for the St. Louis baseball game. Reagan was proud to wear her KC hat and didn't care one bit that she was in Cardinanl territory!
We spent most of our time at the arch museum in the baseball section. It was really interesting!
Looking up at the arch from outside.
A picture of the kids on the stairs that are by the arch. I bet you can't guess which child did NOT want to have their picture taken!!
