We have a lady in our ward who is extremely talented at making gingerbread houses. Marissa's young women's class went to her house last Wednesday to make gingerbread houses for Young Women's. The plan for the activity was to make 4 gingerbread houses and then to give them away to people. There ended up being 4 girls who came to make gingerbread houses. One of the girls said that she really wanted to keep her's for herself. The other girls agreed that they wanted to keep their's as well. Marissa wanted to give her's away, but she didn't say anything at the time because she didn't want to make anyone feel bad. She took her gingerbread house to her young women's leader today and gave it to her. Her leader has 2 little girls and she thought they would really enjoy the gingerbread house. I was proud of her that she wanted to take this opportunity to serve someone who does tons for her!!
