Maddie got the opportunity to go to nutcracker last night. Marissa has 5 really close friends from school and one of them has a little sister Maddie's age whom Maddie has become friends with. Her mom invited Maddie to go with them to a Nutcracker performance put on by Friends University. I had never taken Maddie to anything like that, but I was sure she would be well behaved and watch it. She did great and she seemed to really enjoy it. When she got home, I really enjoyed asking her questions about it to hear her perspective. It cracked me up when she explained to me that the boys were wearing tights and it was pretty disgusting. Obviously, I need to expose my kids to a few more cultural things!!

Nutcracker
