Coronado Heights

The Spanish explorer Coronado supposedly passed through here in the 1600's so in the 20th century a pseudo-Spanish "castle" picnic was built on the highest hill in the area!  They built it to look like there are forts around overlooking the area.  This place is a few miles northwest of Lindsborg!  We went here to eat our lunch.

 Morgan atop the castle structure while Chloe looks out the window.  Morgan was the only one to get to the highest level and I'm not quite sure how she got up there.  She was motivated to go up there when one of the boys threw her shoe up there and she needed to retrieve it.  She was definitely enjoying her perch from above!

 If you look to the right of the high part where Morgan is standing, you can see a dot.  That is a cucumber flying through the air.  Morgan found it up there and she threw it down.  Jaxen, Zack and Crawford kept throwing it back up and Morgan kept throwing it back down!

Right before we left, Chloe and Reagan went into the restroom.  It was kind of nasty so Reagan wasn't too excited about it, but she decided to go anyway.  They walked in and they saw a tiny baby bobcat in the corner.  They thought it was really cute, but they immediately called to Chloe's mom, Brandi, who was nearby.  They ended up not going to the bathroom and leaving immediately because they didn't know where the mother was and figured that the safest thing would be to quickly leave!  I definitely think they made a good choice!
