4th of July Package for Marissa

I decided to make a 4th of July package for Marissa.  Unfortunately, I didn't really get to it until today after Maddie & Morgan were both gone to camp and weren't able to help me.

I thought these little origami stars were a great idea for a missionary.  Some of them turned out really good, some not so good.  On the back side of each of the paper strips I wrote a quote.  I had one missionary quote written in my ipad and all of the rest of the quotes were from my Quote Pinterest Board.  I made 63 of them and it took me 3 hours.  Whew!!

Reagan helped me a little in making these confetti poppers.  They have strings on top to hang them and strings on the bottom to pull to make confetti scatter.  I fit 4 of them in the package and gave the remaining two to Reagan and Michael.  (Michael is staying with us today because his parents are the cooks at girls camp and his sisters are there, too!)

These little rockets are filled with tootsie rolls wrapped in patriotic wrappers (a fabulous find from Nifty Nut House!).  The best thing about these craft projects is I didn't buy a single thing!  I just used supplies from my stash!

These cookies are from the Six Sisters blog, definitely one of my favorite blogs for recipes.  They are cake mix cookies.  Michael loved these.  As he took another one tonight, he told Reagan, "You can't expect me to stop eating these cookies, they are just too good!".

Here are the items ready to go  into a medium flat rate shipping box.  All but two of the confetti poppers fit.  I tried to send some extra things so Marissa could give them to people if she wants to.  The cookies are in the decorated Pringles can.  The Takis are a treat from Dollar Tree that Rob wanted Marissa to try.  The spider man ball and pet dinosaur are also things that Rob picked out at Dollar Tree!  Ha, ha!!
